TERMS OF SERVICE

By accessing or purchasing from Velvet Vault Furnishing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing a purchase.

  1. VINTAGE CONDITION & PRODUCT DETAILS
    All items sold by Velvet Vault Furnishing are vintage and are 20+ years old unless otherwise stated. Items may show signs of wear including, but not limited to, patina, fading, small marks, surface wear, or other age-related characteristics. These features are normal and part of the nature and charm of vintage furniture.

We do our best to accurately photograph and describe all items. Variations in color and appearance may occur due to lighting, screen settings, and the materials used.

  1. ALL SALES FINAL
    All sales are final.
    We do not accept returns, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations for any reason.

Please review all photos, descriptions, and measurements carefully before purchasing. If you would like additional photos, videos, or information, please contact us prior to placing your order.

  1. INVENTORY AVAILABILITY
    Inventory is limited and cross-posted on multiple platforms. Availability is not guaranteed until payment is completed. In the rare event of a simultaneous sale, orders are fulfilled on a first-paid basis. If an item becomes unavailable, the buyer will be notified promptly.

  2. MEASUREMENTS & FIT
    Measurements are provided to the best of our ability. Buyers are responsible for confirming items will fit through doorways, stairwells, elevators, and into their intended space.

  3. CARE & USE
    Vintage furniture may require gentle care and maintenance. Velvet Vault Furnishing is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or normal wear after purchase.

  4. COMMUNICATION
    We are happy to answer questions and provide additional photos or videos upon request. All inquiries should be made before purchase. Completing a purchase indicates acceptance of the item’s condition as-is.

  5. SHIPPING & LOCAL PICKUP
    Shipping is not included in the purchase price unless explicitly stated.

Buyers may choose one of the following options:

  • Local pickup by appointment

  • Request a shipping quote by messaging us

  • Arrange their own shipping with a carrier of their choice

If the buyer arranges their own shipping, all responsibility transfers to the buyer once the item leaves our possession. Velvet Vault Furnishing is not responsible for damage, delays, loss, or issues caused by third-party shippers. All shipping costs and logistics are the responsibility of the buyer.

  1. CHANGES TO TERMS
    Velvet Vault Furnishing reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
